Building Survey Report (RICS Level 3)
The Building Surveyor Report aims to give you professional advice to help you make a reasoned and informed decision when purchasing the property, or when planning for repairs, maintenance or upgrading the property.
It will provide more in-depth and detailed advice on condition, describe the identifiable risk of potential or hidden defects.
Building Survey Report is a more intrusive and aimed at the older property, ones that have had significant building work, or ones you plan to do building work on. Probably need a Building Survey (RICS Level 3) is what you will need.
Examples of property types include:
- Listed buildings
- Older properties
- Buildings constructed in an unusual way, however old they are
- Properties you plan to renovate or alter in any way
- Properties that have had extensive alterations
- Converted flats and apartments
- Properties in conservation areas.
