FAQ – Which Survey Is Right For Me?

Do you arrange for access to the property?

Yes, we liaise with the Estate Agent and the Vendor for access to the property on your behalf.

How long does a survey take?

Either Survey Report can take between 3 to 5 hours to complete the physical survey of the property you plan to buy.  This depending on the size and type of property. Following this you will receive a be-spoke report including photographs delivered electronically.

How long before I receive the Report?

Assuming there are no access problems, Reports usually take a maximum of 10 working days from point of instruction to being ready for issue electronically.

Will you arrange access to the
property?

Yes, we will contact the Estate Agent and or Vendor on your behalf.

Will my survey be carried out by a qualified surveyor?

Yes, our Surveyors are qualified with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the leading regulatory authority in the industry.

We also have additional qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Builders (MCIOB).

Can I share the report with any third parties?

We strongly advise you to exercise caution when sharing reports. One of the primary advantages of a survey is that it can be used to negotiate the property price if repairs are required on the home you are purchasing. We recommend that you only share it with your solicitor, but you are free to share it with anyone you want.
