We make a point of going the extra mile and leaving no stone unturned. This includes the use of a telescopic pole and camera to inspect high levels and areas that some firms simply caveat saying “not visible at the time of the inspection) noting that high level areas such as chimneys and roof covering are often expensive to repair given the need for scaffold and the like. We also utilise a Flir C5 thermographic imagining camera that allows us to assess hidden materials for cold and damp, buried heating pipes for leaks and assess insulation coverage to cavities and the like.

We inspect various timbers (attic, floors, carpentry) along with the wall finishes for damp using a Protimeter to assess whether there are elevated readings that are indicative of damp issues.
